R4 n6 BOSSED UP 2nd up off 27 days and stays at 1000m. Over raced and keen mid stages winning first up Sun Coast BM62 at $4.40 when gelded off 168 days. Figures from race were best of the meeting and closed off really well. 2nd horse there (Bold Comic) was good last week behind Abounding in a lot tougher race than this one. Had excuses in races last prep and is clearly horse to beat this field.
R7 n7 TAZARAL 2″d up off 21 days and +3kg +100m. Was held up from 400-250m last start 5th to Phearson 1500m Rosehill at S11-VG run in high rating race for meeting.VG close off a FAST pace there for the meeting. Dry tracker proven at 1600m and has a bank of really consistent figures that can win this race. Three starts back 2nd to Just Fine 1600m at Randwick stands out like a beacon in this field. Very hard to beat.
R9 n10 BEZIQUE 3rd up off 15 days and stays at 1200m. Strong win late last start BM70 when 2″d up at $1.35. Sat 2nd on even tempo and put them away late. Figures from meeting were good without being great. Liked her L200 there she was dominant for the race which was a real positive- she has some quality about her and still has plenty left in the tank for next few runs. Maps well and any rain is a bonus looks better than Class 3 level.

R3 n4 SHARP STOCK 8th up off 14 days and +2kg and +200m. Slow to begin last start and taken well back last inside 9L off leader/winner when 2 to Mosgold. L600 there was outstanding off a FAST tempo which obviously assisted his finish, but he gets a softer one today and a lot closer position mid field in the run. Suited this race and only has to repeat last start figure to beat these.
R7 n10 WAVERIDER BUOY Resumes off 112 days and 3r 900m trial Rosehill behind Union Army beaten 3.6L. Sits well back on map but FAST Tempo up front will give her an opportunity late. Has good fresh stats and has huge closing speed so will be suited today. Like T Berry on her and the wide alley-she will come to the outside in the straight and run over these late. Good quality mare and loves 1100m off this set up.
R9 n4 ARISTONIUS 2nd up off 14 days and +200m. Got well back resuming when 3rd in slowly run 1600m BM78 at Randwick behind Zoes Promise at $5 beaten 0.7L. Dominant close that unsuitable race from the back. Races closer today on inside and although tempo looks slow up front he has the best acceleration in this field. Looks better than these.

R4 n10 CALL THE UNION 4th up off 9 days and held up 500-150m last start when 3rd Caulfield 2000m BM64 beaten 2.75L by Dublin Journal in high rating race at $11. Shuffled back there and held up until 100- very strong late and unlucky. Was equally a good a run start prior on Nov 29 and claim for Gaudray very significant this field. Rolls forward early from MF draw to get into a good spot and should get much smoother run than last few starts.
R6 n6 SOUTH OF HOUSTON 3rd up off 24 days and -2.5kg stays at 1200m. Impressive leading and winning last start 1200m BM64 Sandown Soft 6 when $3.80. Very good figures for meeting with huge L600 off a good lead speed. Form franked from that race and the meeting. All wins have been on Soft but she leads controls on this map and will be off and gone around the home turn here.
R8 n1 GLENTANEOUS 5th up off 17 days and -1.5kg +100m. VG set up. Out to 2400m last start and impressive winner at $1.85. On his way to Bagot Hop on New Years Day. Very good close off SLOW tempo winning last start with excellent L600 figures from that meeting for that distance. Tough map for him and will have to go well back early, but 2500m ideal for him now off last start and best horse here.

R4 n2 LA DEFENSE Big win Dec 9 coming from last on Heavy 8. Big close for race and also the meeting off SLOW tempo. All three runs this prep have been good and well placed this class with 59kg. Small field and big track suits- he should run right over the top of these late.
R5 n7 ROCKSTAR MEGGSY Resumed Dec 2 1000m Good 4- sat well back 9L and wide with blinkers off and did race without tongue tie there also. Dry tracker and huge close there with a high quality L600 which was best of the meeting. Out to 1200m today and well suited this bigger track late today this class of race.

Huge close for the race and the meeting against the pattern and both its career runs have been good. Out to 1400m here and can be closer on the map from ideal inside draw-clearly the horse to beat.
