R3 n6 A LITTLE DEEP Forward early on map inside to be behind the lead group. 4th up off 21 days stays at 1200m. Last start here G4 track drew inside (not place to be at that meeting) sat back 5th on an even tempo and ran 2ª beaten o.5L by a swooper out wide on track in best going. Overall figures from race were solid but the track was messy by that time of the meeting. Has come back a much-improved mare this prep and well suited again off a positive map.
R5 n7 JIMMYSSTAR Maps MF but soft draw there and suited late. 2nd up off 21 days and suited out to 1400m. Resumed off 126 days Caulfield drew wider and went right back in the field off an even tempo but got out wider in the straight (best going) and rattled home late to win narrowly. Overall figures from the race were high quality and his closing speed was elite. He had meeting dominant fastest L800/600/400/200m. That’s rare air for a horse at that level. Always been a talent and flies for B Shinn and gets map favours here late off this tempo.
R10 n4 ANOTHER WIL Maps forward behind leaders on the inside. 3a up off 21 days drops 5kg and well suited out to 1600m. Last start here Good 4 sat 2” on an even tempo before overcoming difficulties in the straight to win easily by 1.5L when smashed in betting. Overall figures from the race were only average for the meeting with poor closing figures but he was severely checked in straight and was in the inferior ground inside, happy to forgive off that. Emerging 5YO horse in leading stable with a bank of competitive figures and map suits ideally with 53.5kg.

R1 n2 MISTING Back midfield on map outside and will be suited from there late. 4th race start off 10 days rises 3kg and suited out to 1800m (+200m). Last start Eagle Farm maiden Good 4 restrained back to last on even tempo but was too strong late winning by 1.9L when heavily backed. That race was over at the 200m. Emerging staying filly well suited in this class of race out to 1800m.
R3 n1 STREET CHASE Will be positive early from wide draw to be on speed. 2d up off 24 days rises 2kg back to 1000m (-110m). Resumed gelded Doomben Good 4 sat 2nd on an even tempo and bolted in 3L when smashed in betting. Overall figures were best of meeting, and he closed off the race strongly, with the subsequent form from race being red hot. Tougher map from this start with 60kg but J Orman rides again and looks a good young horse from an in-form stable.
R5 n6 WANDA ROX Forward inside on map on leaders back. 3d up off 14 days drops 1kg back to 1000m. Prepared to forgive last start in Toowoomba on the H8 track and she was in the worst going there at 1200m beaten 3.9L by Hidden Wealth. Start prior was wide here on an even tempo from an outside draw but bolted in 4.5L in quality figures. Has had feet issues in the past but looks to have come back well this prep and all her dry track form/figures at 1000m is good enough for today. Suited on map and with 52kg looks the winner.

R3 n6 BEAR ON THE LOOSE Leads and controls on map. 2d up off 21 days and well suited out to 2000m. Resumed Randwick off short 83-day break G4 drew inside went forward on a fast tempo (unsuited off a break) and ran 2nd beaten 1.6L by Floating who has been good since. Overall figures from the race were rock solid and while he did have EPC, he tanked out L200m off the spell and the fast tempo of that race. Sets up well today out to 2000m off 21 days and will control this race on speed off a more moderate tempo.
R4 n1 SWIFTFALCON Maps back 5 pairs inside and awkward map from there. 3rd up on 7 day back up and looks suited out to 1800m (+200m). Last start Randwick drew outside and was taken back near last before overpowering them late to win easily 2.2L when well backed. His closing speed there was VG. Genuine talent and suited at 1800m coming from the back off this map.
R9 n3 OLENTIA Maps 4 pairs back inside. Resumes off 182 days and ran 4th Warwick Farm trial Sept 30. (Had bone chip surgery in both front fetlocks since last start). Has got brilliant fresh form and resumed Randwick last prep on Slow 5 and very unlucky not to win after being held up in straight. Quality lightly raced mare who has only had one public trial, and well weighted with 57kg. Inside map is some concern but she has powerful closing speed when clear.
