Last start BM64 Geelong G4 drew inside went to 2 a early on a fast tempo and was too strong late winning by 0.7L when heavily backed late. Overall figures from race were good. Form behind him at last race has since been strong and is suited back to 3YO class race today. Very hard to run down late with B Shinn.
R5 n10 TRAPEZE WARRIOR Map suits on speed. 3rd up off 14 days rises 3.5kg back to 1000m. Last start BM80 Flemington G4 went forward to 5th early down the straight with no cover and was followed closely there by the smart winner Pisanello. He was brave late for 2nd to that horses beaten 0.5L. Overall figures from race were average of that tempo but his run was good there for a race like this. Talented 40 gelded this prep and in astute stable.

R3 n4 PISANELLO Maps back MF but suited from there late this tempo. 3ª up off 14 days rises 2kg and back to 1000m (-100m). Last start BM80 Flemington G4 drew inside down the straight (not suited) sat back 12*h on a slow tempo and was too strong late winning by 0.5L when well backed. Overall figures from race were average off that tempo but he did close off well late for the race. Back around a bend today will suit better as he was very impressive winning first up 1000m at WFarm. Up to 60kg and loses J Mac but should run these down late with clear air in straight.

R6 n11 YONGA LASS 31ª up on 7 day back up and very well placed at weights against his rivals today. Very unlucky last week when she went back to last on a very slow tempo and charged home late beaten narrowly. Her closing speed there was huge. She gets a lot better tempo up front in this race for W Pike and has elite speed late in her races. Good mare and can run over the top of these late today.
R9 n2 WUBIN GOLD 3rd up off 21 days and both runs this prep coming from the back on slow tempos have been outstanding. Last start here her L400m was elite winning off a bad barrier. She will settle a lot closer today off a soft draw and will finish over the top of these late again, has come back a much improved mare and looks the winner.

R3 n1 DRANG A TANG Is an honest horse resuming from a spell on the back of a very impressive recent jump-out win. He was a good thing beaten 1st up last campaign, and in what looks a thin race he should settle just behind the speed and be too strong late for these.
R6 n1 ELEVEN BLACK Ran a great race over this course and distance last start when had to work hard from the wide barrier to sit outside the leader before fighting on well for a nice 2nd. Drawn to lead this time and will take plenty of running down from there.

R5 n5 WATCHME WIN His last two wins off a 5 week freshen up have been excellent and set him up well for this race today. Last start was dominant late winning easily by 2.5L in good figures and he is from a very much in form stable. Will get similar run on map today and should finish over the top of these. Nice horse.
