R8 n1 KRONENBOURG Leads inside on map. 3rd up off 21 days drops 1kg and stays at 1600m. Last start Eagle Farm drew inside and led/controlled on a very slow tempo (suited) and fell in to win late narrowly. Overall figures from race were plain but he did close of well L400m considering he was 21 up after a long spell. Unbeaten this track and distance 2/2 and has very good record at 1600m overall. Good tough consistent horse in this class and keen he wins today.
R9 n7 GIVE ME SPACE Maps midfield inside and suited from there late at this tempo. 2nd up off 17 days drops 2.5kg and stays at 1200m. Resumed off 224-day spell Eagle Farm with Lugg Bit and T/Tie first time and was smashed late in betting winning by 4.8L off an even tempo. He had meeting best sectionals there from 800m to finish, that’s rare air for a horse. He looks a genuine talent, no Jimmy Orman riding today but keen he still wins.

R1 n9 ANGLAND Forward early behind leaders. 4th up off 28 days drops 2.5kg and out to 1600m for first time (+200m). Last start Murray Bridge with blinkers on went forward to sit 2″a on a very slow tempo (suited) and won easily 2L when heavily backed. Overall figures from race were poor but they crawled in front in that race and really only sprinted the L400m. Lightly raced, maps well and just sets up perfectly today in this class of race.
R4 n9 NADAL Back on map but wider draw will suit him late. 2nd up off 24 days drops 6kg and out to 1200m (+100m). Last start Caulfield Good 4 in BM78 class race drew inside sat back 7th and was then held up in straight before exploding late to win by 1.8L when heavily backed. Overall figures from race were genuine quality and he had elite closing speed there. Gelded this prep and will be winning much better races than here, map suits and can win again.
R9 n10 PISANELLO Well back inside on map. 2d up off 17 days out to 1100m (+100m). Resumed off 119-day spell BM72 WFarm G4 sat back 7th on a very slow tempo (unsuited) and charged late to win easily 2.2L. Overall figures from race were strong off that tempo but his closing figures were borderline elite with a completely dominant L800m for the meeting. Lightly raced 4YO in top stable who loved dryer track when resuming. Draws inside down the straight which is never ideal, and he is short enough price considering that but is clear top pick with clear air in straight.

R5 n4 UNIQUE AMBITION Forward early 3 pairs back outside and suited from there late. 3a up off 21 days rises 4.5kg out to 1800m (+200m). Last start Randwick Slow 5 drew wide but went forward to lead on an even tempo running 5th beaten 1.4L by Lekvarte in Group 3 race. She was 1300-1600m there 21d up and that race was lengths stronger than here. Overall figures from race were strong. Out to 1800m today suits and back to BM78 class is even better. Nice mare who looks better than rivals today.
R9 n6 FIRE STAR Positive early on map to be 2nd outside leader. 7üh up off 24 days rises 2kg and stays at 1200m. Last start WFarm Slow 5 he drew wider but went forward to 2a on an even tempo and won easily by 2.4L when solidly backed. His last three runs/figures since the Visors were applied have been his best and he gets Tommy Berry back on today, well suited.

R7 n5 SEPTEMBER BORN Genuine talent 2nd up today with blinkers on and well suited out to 1400m. Last start drew outside and was snagged back to near last on an even tempo before launching late for 2nd beaten 0.3L by a smart horse. Maps back again here off a wide draw but he will unleash late on these and should be winning, highly promising colt.

R4 n4 KINROSS LANE Showed good speed to lead on debut before knocking up late when 2nd over 1200m at this track last start. Will strip much fitter for that and can control the race from the inside barrier, looks the winner in a thin race.

R4 n3 SURPRISE COMING 3rd start today for new trainer and is ready to win. Last start when 2nd up he went forward from a wide draw to be 6th and wide on a very fast tempo, his effort to run 2nd there beaten narrowly was excellent. Off an inside draw today and out to 1400m with previous winning rider back aboard he looks very hard to beat.
