Last start BM78 Eagle Farm S6 track with blinkers on again sat back 5L off leader on a fast tempo and was inside without a lot of room. Once clear at the 200m he exploded late to win by 2.8L with a race dominant L200m figure. Back in class today with claim and he should charge over the top of these late and win again.

Resumed off 128-day spell BM78 Caulfield Heath with nose roll on first time was checked badly after start sat back last 5L off on a very slow tempo. That was not the place to be at that meeting and on that track. She powered home with outstanding L600m sprint to win narrowly but very impressively given the above. Proven down the straight and keen she wins.

R3 n2 MEDICINAL 3’d race start off 13 days back to 1000m (-100m). Last start Maiden Ballarat went forward after a scratchy start on a slow tempo and won very easily by 3.3L. Race rated ok for the meeting but her 1600m figures were excellent. Run prior on debut behind Streisand was also impressive late after being held up in straight. Emerging Godolphin filly with Hayes stable and their young horses always race well down the straight.

R5 n1 SALTY PEARL Forward early with cover. 3’d up off 14 days drops 2.5kg and well suited out to 1600m (+200m). Last start Group 2 Caulfield sat back 6L off on very fast tempo and was wider in straight chasing Sheza Alibi. She closed off in strong figures off that tempo for 2°° to that star filly in a high rating race. Been waiting for her to get to 1600m and Flemington today on the bigger track suits her big time. Keen she runs Sass Appeal down late and wins.

R9 n2 TENTYRIS Back near last on map. 2d up off 21 days rises 1.5kg and very well suited out to 1200m (+200m). Last start resumed off 105-day spell Group 1 Flemington sat back last 7L off leader on a slow tempo. He just sat there until the 200m and then exploded late to win by 0.8L with a stunning last 800m sectional closing off with meeting fastest L200m. Horses just don’t run any faster late in races than he does and 1200m today suits even better. Keen he wins again.

Not a fan of the gear change but gets J Mac to ride and did ride him in both trials. His best from is off faster tempos which he gets today and very well-placed back to Listed class. Looks right race for him.

Resumed off 98-day spell Caulfield Group 2 Fillies sat back 5L off on a very fast tempo and got a dream run through inside late winning easily by 2.3L when smashed in betting. Race rated strongly and her L200m off that tempo was borderline elite. Out to 1600m but maps to get very soft run and will explode again late off that.

R9 n6 JOLIESTAR Maps back off lead group. 2°d up off 21 days and suited out to 1300m (+100m). Resumed off 98-day spell Group 2 Randwick sat back 4* 3L off leader on a slow tempo and had a clear run home from there winning easily by 1/2L. She had meeting fastest L600m figure which was typically elite for her. I have zero concerns about her 2nd up record – some of her 2nd up losses would win this race easily. Gets map favours over main danger Lady Shenandoah and keen she wins.

R10 n3 IDLE FLYER Forward early in 1/1. Resumes off 126-day spell and two trials. Ran 3° most recent 1030m Rosehill Feb 23 – she was impressive there in that trial. Her form/figures just continued to improve through her last prep going from a BM72 through to a Group 3 winner. She has top end quality closing speed off any tempos and maps ideally here for Z Lloyd, expecting her to run over these late and win.

She was in the right spot there but put them to the sword late winning easily by 1.5L. Race rated highly and she had an elite L600m figure off that tempo. High quality filly well suited out to 1200m off this tempo and she just looks better than them again today.

R10 n11 AMBASSADORIAL Leads on map. 4th up off 21 days drops 4.5kg and stays at 2000m. Last start BM70 Caulfield got a luxury run in front leading and controlling on a crawl speed tempo and was much too good late off that winning by 1.8L. That race was basically a 600m sprint home and sets him up nicely fitness wise for today with the weight drop off what looks like a similar map. Much improved stayer for new stable and keen he leads and wins again.

Last start on debut 2YO Eagle Farm S6 track led and controlled on an even tempo and just kept running against low quality opposition winning by 5.5L. Race rated strongly and her figures were excellent with a strong L200m figure suggesting out to 1200m today will be no issue. Forward on speed for J Mac proven on soft and looks a bomb proof 2YO – keen she wins again.

R10 n6 ROSELYNS STAR Positive early from wider draw. 3rd up off 28 days and was impressive when 2nd in recent 795m trial Warwick Farm. Last start BM88 Rosehill sat 4th early in 1/1 off a fast tempo and had a clear run home late when 2nd to Sixties beaten 1.7L. L400m figure off that tempo was excellent and the talented winner produced an elite L600m figure with 5.5kg less to beat him. Looks better than these and wider draw should suit by last race on program.

Closing figures there were dominant for race closing off with 5th fastest L200m of meeting. That’s an excellent effort for a 2YO on debut off an outside draw and that form line is clearly best in this race

Gear changes today and is proven on soft and has the right map/jockey to be winning.

This suits a lot better back to 3YO class 1200m and on a wet track. Her form last prep as a 2YO in decent quality races sets her up very well and she should be strong late out wider off this map/tempo. Keen she wins.

R6 n2 SAINT GEORGE Forward early on speed. 6th up off 28 days – had tick over 1200m trial Cranbourne Feb 2 and drops 1kg out to 2500m (+500m). Last start BM100 Flemington sat 4th early in 1/1 3L off leader on an even tempo. Had the right run there and only won by 0.3L surviving a protest. That was his third run at 2000m and he is really looking for the 2500m today. Dry tracker gelded this prep and keen he wins again this map/tempo.

He was super impressive late in that trial – they don’t trial much better than that. Emerging 4YO very well placed back to Listed class today. Race rated strongly for that class and she was used up early but still very strong late in straight. Looks a classy 2YO and should be winning again today with senior rider back aboard.

Race rated highly and she never looked like losing. Above average dry track mare with great racing pattern and very well suited.

They ran that race hard from start to finish so he had zero favours there when 3rd to Davida (won since) beaten 2L. He was still very good late off that tempo which is a sign of quality. Suited on map and is a decent young horse.

He was torched there early and was very brave late. Sets up great leading/controlling around this track-he is a different horse when he can lead like that.
