BEST BETS

R1 n9 FLASH FEELING Maps well behind speed 4th up off 14 days and last start 2nd at Moonee Valley to Independent Road who led on a very slow tempo and held him off on the line. He raced keenly early and mid-stages (C Williams will know him so much better having second ride on him today) on that tempo going from 1700-2040m first time this prep and will settle a lot better today with that run under his belt. Gets a 3kg weight swing for a nose defeat and we should see a peak rating off that set up.

R3 n9 ANOTHER WIL
Maps back MF on outside 2nd up off 24 days out to 1600m (+200m) which suits. Won when resuming at Sandown BM64 in dominant best meeting figures off an even tempo. His L600 closing speed there was high quality. This tempo suits at 1600m and J Kah can let him wind up out wider off this map, clearly best horse here and will be winning a lot better races in his career than a BM70.

R4 n4 SOUTHPORT TYCOON
2nd up off 14 days and out to 1400m (+200m) which suits. Resumed at Moonee Valley in Open age Group 2 beaten 0.2L by Veight when he did a few things wrong early in race before attacking the line late in very good figures for the meeting. Could argue that he wins that race with better luck. Rises 1.5kg here in what looks a much easier race back to 3YO age group and out to 1400m. We are yet to see him in a race with tempo on up front and when we do I expect we will see a special young horse. Keen he wins today.

R8 n4 ASFOORA Maps great for resuming run off 91 days and has brilliant record this track and distance. Jump outs have been typically Very Good. Will get run of the race here without any issues and from there she will wave goodbye to these in the straight. Top class mare and this is a perfect race to kickstart her campaign.

R7 n1 BOLD BASTILLE
Forward on map and can lead these or sit on speed. Resumes off 105 days and out to 1100m (+100m) off last start debut win at M Valley 1000m when led and dominated in high rating race winning by 3L. Figures there were
exceptional. Recent jump out was good, and she will be too fast for these today.

 Race 10: 3* from 9,5,8

BEST BETS

R4 n3 BELVEDERE BOYS – Maps back of MF outside and suited by this pressure, will unleash late off this set up. 2nd up off 24 days and was scratched Eagle Farm last Saturday when drew wide to be kept for today. Stays at 1200m off last start resuming win Doomben, sat back 6th on Slow tempo and crushed them late, huge L600 there. He has explosive closing speed for a horse in this grade and still hasn’t experienced a fast tempo up front in his short career – he will today. Keen he wins.

R5 n7 GENTLY ROLLED – Good map 3 pairs back on outside and will let rip from there late today , she has a big finish. 2nd up off 21 days out to 1300m (+100m) is ideal set up. Last start resumed 2nd beaten 0.8L in high rating BM72 (Midway) off an even tempo and her closing figures there were high quality. Out to 1300m ideal and only needs clear air in straight to be winning today.

R9 n 8 AMOR VICTORIUS – Leads on map and is a big plus this tempo. 2nd up off 14 days drops 5.5kg out to 1600m (+200m) off resuming win when led and controlled race to beat Estadio Mestalla (won since) in VG figures(career peak) for the day off an even tempo. He just kept running and won very well by 2.7L when well backed. He gets favours up front again on a slow tempo with a light weight and looks extremely hard to beat again.

R10 n3 TINTOOKIE – Maps MF outside 3 pairs back and will unleash late from there today 3rd up off 21 days out to 1200m (+100m). Last start 2nd to Our Kobison (won since) giving him 1.5kg when sat 6th on a very slow tempo and
charged home late beaten 1.2L. Huge L600m there and was even faster home in her resuming win to start the prep also beating Our Kobison. Has to carry 59.5kg v the males today but finally finds a race with tempo up front and is crying out for 1200m. Very hard to beat.

Race 10: 4* from 11,12,7

BEST BETS

R8 n5 ANYTHINK GOES Maps well behind the leaders here. 6th up off 21 days rises 2kg out to 1600m (+100m) which suits as proven out to 1900m. Last start ran 2nd at Rosehill in fair figures off a slow tempo for the meeting. Also ran 2nd at Randwick prior to that beaten similar margin, again in fair figures for the meeting. He did have very good race close that day. No star but very well suited this class of race today off this map. Looks the winner.

R9 n3 BOOM TORQUE Draws wide but gets midfield cover and tempo up front suits big time. 3rd up off 28 days rises 3kg out to 1350m (+50m). Last start won when wide no cover Gold Coast MM day when went well back and stormed home to win, rating was best of meeting. Closing figures there were outstanding for the meeting and dominant for his race. Should have won 1st up here 1110m behind Inasec, has come back very well this prep. Keen he wins.

R10 n4 VIMINELE
Maps well midfield, should have back of Hellavadancer in the run. 4th up off 14 days rises 4kg out to 1350m (+150m). Was slow to begin last start before finishing 2nd at Sunny Coast when heavily backed. Dominant close there for the
race and his L600m was VG for entire meeting. Prior to that was a very unlucky 12th to Boom Torque in good race when completely untested the length of the straight. All runs this prep with blinkers on have been good and out to
1350m today is ideal. Prefer dryer track than a Slow 6.

BEST BETS

BEST BET: R2 n1 RUSHEEN – is the class runner here who was in need of the run when not beaten far by the smart Ring Of Steel at Doomben last start. His previous form was good for a race like this, maps midfield behind solid
tempo and can run over the top of these late at nice odds.
